Becoming a Life Member
Individuals who possess an MBBS degree, are specialists in any discipline, hold a BAMS, BHMS, BUMS, or are nurses and non-physician professionals, as well as other notable contributors, are welcome to join the society as Life Members. It is essential for members to be dedicated to working on Reproductive and Child Health (RCH) throughout their lives, focusing on contraceptive education and promoting one to two-child families.
Establishing a NARCHI Branch in Your City
Existing NARCHI members interested in establishing a branch in their city can gather a minimum of 15 prospective Life Members and submit a bank demand draft (in favour of NARCHI) for 50% of the total amount of 15 Life Membership fees. The draft should be sent to the NARCHI headquarters, accompanied by completed membership forms for each individual.
The branch will be led by the most senior practitioners affiliated with the nearest medical college or a retired professor. Upon receiving the necessary documentation, NARCHI headquarters will issue a charter to open a bank account in the name of NARCHI, followed by the name of the town.
A local NARCHI branch will include Dr. C. S. Dawn ICMCH Fellow Guides and all other ordinary members. The branch will then convene a meeting to elect its office bearers. All branches must adhere to the constitution set forth by NARCHI Headquarters. Each branch will retain 50% of the membership fee per life member and send the remaining 50% to NARCHI Headquarters.
