Eligibility: A Pass in M.B.B.S.
Course Duration: Two Years
Session I: 1st January to 31st December (Two years)
Session II: 1st July to 30th June (Two years)

The Dip.GO trainee undergoes two years of clinical work under Fellow Guides at a recognised hospital. The training encompasses all facets of routine  primary care and therapeutics in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.

This two-year resident training program includes a stipend for the candidate. It provides comprehensive practical exposure complemented by extensive theoretical material.

Upon completion of the course, the candidate is equipped to engage in  independent Obstetrics and Gynaecology practice, including handling LSCS (Lower Segment Caesarean Section). MTP (Medical Termination of Pregnancy) training is offered at FPAI, Calcutta. Currently, endoscopic surgery falls outside the scope of this course.

The Dip CH trainee undergoes two years of clinical work under Fellow Guides at a recognised hospital. The training program adheres to the principles of value-based education and patient care, which are central to NARCHI (National Association for Reproductive & Child Health of India).

This course provides substantial practical exposure alongside comprehensive theoretical material. It encompasses all facets of routine primary care and therapeutics in Paediatrics, including detailed training in Immunisation. The aim of the course is to enhance participants’ skills for better healthcare delivery to patients.

Upon completion of the course, the candidate is capable of independent practice in Paediatrics.

Eligibility: BAMS/ BUMS/ BHMS
Course Duration: One Year
Session I : 1st June to 31st May (One year)
Session II : 1st December to 30th November (One year)

The candidate undergoing the course will receive training under a Fellow Guide at a recognised hospital or nursing home for one year. During this period, she will have access to regular clinical work, including outpatient department (OPD) duties, assisting in surgeries, conducting normal deliveries, performing episiotomy repairs, providing routine post-operative care, and offering contraception counselling and services.

This training instils immense confidence in the candidate, who later establishes her clinic and practices routine obstetrics and gynaecology as a primary care physician. However, it’s important to note that Medical  Termination of Pregnancy (MTP) procedures are not included in this training program.

Session II : 1st December to 30th November (One year)

This certificate course aims to provide practical knowledge in paediatrics to aspiring Ayush doctors, enabling them to serve effectively in rural areas. The primary focus of the course is on rural child health, addressing their problems and implementing solutions at the grassroots level.

The course will be conducted by well-reputed Fellow guides at a recognised paediatric hospital. Over the span of one year, trainees will become proficient and well-equipped in rural child health, covering basic needs, preventive measures, advanced services, and skill enhancements for improved medical practice. Additionally, the program includes training in managing rural emergencies such as snake bites,
animal bites, fractures, and drowning incidents.
Furthermore, the curriculum incorporates the National Immunization Program, ensuring comprehensive training in paediatric care.

Eligibility: A Pass in 10th Standard or equivalent
Course Duration: One Year
Session: 1st January to 31st December (One Year)

The junior midwife course offers hands-on training under experienced Senior Midwives, focusing on compassionate patient care and evidence-based practice. Trainees gain skills in antenatal care, assisting deliveries, postnatal care, and family planning.

Emphasis is placed on maternal and infant health, including managing normal deliveries and obstetric emergencies. Students emerge as confident junior midwives, ready to provide high-quality care across the spectrum of pregnancy and childbirth.
