DR. C. S. DAWN - INDIAN COLLEGE OF MATERNAL & CHILD HEALTH
Established in 1990 at Cuttack during the NARCHI conference, the Indian College of Maternal & Child Health (ICMCH) emerged as an academic beacon within the National Association for Reproductive and Child Health of India. Founded by esteemed visionaries including Dr. C S Dawn, Dr. R V Bhatt, and Dr. M N Parekh, ICMCH was conceived to address the need for specialized postgraduate training for fresh medical graduates.
ICMCH offers postgraduate medical training exclusively tailored for MBBS graduates, focusing on Obstetrics, Gynaecology, Child Health, Neonatal Health, Infant Immunization, Contraception, and demographic population study and control. This specialized education is facilitated through a network of over 200 meticulously equipped Hospitals and Nursing Homes across the country, all affiliated with ICMCH.
